If you're following along, New World is a dumpster fire at the moment. No matter how much you may support the game or enjoy it, the poor quality control on this title is epic levels of failure. No game releases bug-free, but this is on a level, I've never witnessed for a AAA MMO title. From bugs to exploits to crashed economies, there's a smorgasbord of woes plaguing the game. And yet, I'm still playing and plan to continue in hopes AGS can right this ship. There are too many things that I do enjoy to consider quitting at the moment.
Has all of the madness marred the journey? Of course, it has. I've been impacted by several of the worst bugs - skills not working as advertised, skill and attribute perks doing fuck-all, overcharged for house taxes, income from Auction House sales vanished into the ether. Nerfs to the Life Staff, which is slow as hell to level on top of the sacrifice of spending the points in focus that only benefits the LS, to having it nerfed in an effort to improve the game's abysmal performance during large scale PVP is another kick in the head.
