It’s been a hectic few weeks in my real life. I was blessed with a contract from a publisher to do another audiobook. Certainly can’t complain about it. It’s also busy at work so I’m rather worn out by the end of the day.
Into the the work of producing Casual Citizen and writing for Redacted.TV, I’ve taken on being the Roleplay Manager for Intergalactic Airlines (IGAIR). You may recall I was an officer in this organization back in 2014. I left because I couldn’t quite visualize my place in such a large group and I wasn’t exactly sure of my plans for Star Citizen. I’ve since solidified my vision, which revolves around producing lore based content and media, in addition chronicling my journey as usual. Going back in and taking up the position as the RP Manager and acting as the Luxury Cruise Administrator, dovetails nicely with the lore based aspect of SC that I find fascinating.
I managed the launch of a roleplay focused blog for IGAIR last week. Just a few articles up so far but we have plans for hosting RP events, guides and tips related to RP. Stop by, give us a read and subscribe!
Our first RP event is for a structure scenario. This is a hosted event where there are defined objectives and an prescribed end date. Both aspects create a sense of urgency that aid in propelling the story forward. It was also designed to allow characters to come and go, making casual participation possible.
So far so good. I’m rather blown over by rapid and frequent submissions. I’m having fun doing my parts and hope the others are enjoying it as well. Here’s the Structure RP Event Template I developed to support organizing the event. Feel free to make a copy and customize it to your needs.
