That's about all I was going to post. Between work and taking another workshop, my free time has been spent in Allods. I'm Alysianah playing an Arisen Summoner on Nezeb server. Damn, is this game crowded. But it's all good. That should make it very easy to get into groups for instances and world boss fights. I'd rather have too many players than too few.
Booooooooooooo-hissssssssssssssss to all the blogger playing League. I'd hoped to play with you all at some point. Now I'll only see you facing down my vampiric bats from a distance. My bag is full so I've been waiting for the cash shop to open to buy one then I saw this insanity on Massively. The players on the forums are none too happy either. $20 US to add 6 spaces into my bag. Are these people out of their fucking minds!?! Yes, I can use that word here. Whatever they are smoking I need some of it quick.
I enjoyed the PVE I experienced. I LOVE my class. I'm tickled pink with the steampunk motif. I want to support this game by using the cash shop as it makes sense. BUT you will not RAPE me with ludicrous prices. Someone is stupider than a box of rocks setting these sort of prices. There's a little thing called an economic crisis happening around the world. Tune into some news.
I'd pay $20 for an additional 40 slot bag + 2 respec reset-thingies and a damn mount (game doesn't have mounts) but you get my drift. I might pay $20 for a solo enabled Astral ship to use for travel, exploration and PVE. HOWEVER, I WILL NOT GIVE YOU 20-BUCKS FOR 6 ADDITIONAL SPACES IN A BAG, MORONS!!!!
I spent $70 dollars in Runes of Magic for my crafting workshop - dream thing I've wanted since the very first MMO. But that was a 2-story house with XP, talent and crafting bonuses, AND all decked out. Plus my guild mates used to come chill there, and chat while crafting. $20 for 6 additional bag spaces. Get real! I expect Darren who didn't want to pay $10 for a permanent mount to have a coronary when he reads that one, if he's at all interested in Allods. He probably isn't now.
EDIT: They have posted a news item that the prices in the Cash Shop are not a mistake or conversion issue. And not to worry, they will be adding more items soon. Are these people for real?? Wow, just wow, is about all I can say.
I'm having trouble deciding which expletive to lead with. I'm enjoying Allods a lot, but I'll be emphasizing the free in free-to-play in this case.

OMG it's a constant general chat war. Every time someone finds out the prices for the first time BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The apologists start and tell the complainers to leave and say don't buy anything. Which is all well and good, if a F2P game can survive on no one buying anything in the cash shop. This game had my wallet at hello at least for bags and a few respec potions but now??? They can bite me unless the buy a clue. It boggles my mind that anyone thinks $20 for 6 extra spaces in your bag, not a whole new 24 slots but just adding 6 spaces is worth that price. They've got to be on something. And the way my life is going these days, I'd like whatever they're taking.

I replied to your comment on my blog, but I'll just state it again for good measure - this is crazy. Treat us with the respect we can expect as potentially paying customers.

Looks like they are trying to be even greedier than Cryptic and NCSoft!!! I guess they missed the bit where that only drives people away from a game when you try to nickle and dime them to death, although with these prices I guess it is more like $50 and $100. Crazy!

The prices are quite steep, especially on that bag. Maybe they will adjust them in time.
I play a summoner also, I love the class. Currently I am League but I was thinking of trying the other side a bit also. It is a fantastic game so far. Very overcrowded but it seems to get better once you get out of the newbie area, thankfully!

Better to be crowded now than not enough for world bosses, instances and PVP once the attrition starts.

Saylah, what character name and server are you willing to publicly declare as your "main"? At least, if you want us League defectors to offer moral support. ;)
