I don't recall doing anything except walking up to the NPC in Ratchet on my Warlock at 40. IIRC, he said something like "a quest might be put in later, but here's your mount!" :)

Of course, this was 3 months or so after Retail, so things may have changed at this point.

I tried EVE about 6 months ago. I liked it, but there was something missing. I didn't feel like I was progressing by hanging out and farming deep space ore all day.

The main reason I quit playing EVE was because I came to a realization: The only way to get ahead in that game is to be a sneaky, manipulative, backstabber.I know I have what it takes to be one of the few miserable humans who clean out their corp then hit the road, but I don't want to be "that guy".

WOW for me is starting to become interesting now that my priest has hit 56. I am running scholo and strat with groups of people who know their class, instead of the standard BRD doofuses. I'm looking forward to outlands but who knows, LOTRO is coming out soon and I really want to give that game a shot.

Saylah

LOL @ BRD doofuses. Oh how true. How painfully true!
